Purpose
Children’s Ministries looks at the whole child and seeks to provide multiple ministries that will lead children to Jesus and disciple them in their daily walk with Him.
The Children’s Ministries department’s focal areas this 5 year-period is the Kid’s In Discipleship ministry, an abuse prevention policy in every union, training and certifying all Children’s Ministries leaders, Sabbath School teachers, Children’s Church, and outreach by children to children.
Our Mission
Empowering Leaders. Impacting Kids.
How We Serve
Training- The Children’s ministries offers training, resources, and support for those who teach and lead children at churches in the Conference.
Leadership – Children are a vital part of our church community and it is important that they feel welcome, are included and empowered for ministry and worship.
Intergenerational Events – Faith is developed in the context of relationships and thus it is extremely important that children are able to build healthy relationships both in the home and at church – parents, mentors, faith friend and role models. This is why Children’s Ministries also gives huge emphasis on intergenerational connection and events – in particular intergenerational worship, service and evangelism.
